Traces
"I can't help but think that this creature never had any specific purpose, but now it's broken… and beyond that, nothing can be said about the Odradak*, as its extraordinary mobility makes it impossible to capture." My photography series delves into the 'deconstruction of material,' dismantling the materials of my body and creating a new object from them. The claim is that through my observation of the dance of body and soul, some 'Odradak' is formed, and between it and me, a dialogue arises regarding the taboos in post-modern culture, in which we exist somewhat ambiguously. Photography allows me to capture the sculptural manipulations and contemplate them, while the material has already detached itself from its previous, environmental context - the context it is intended for - and take shape like a new creature in the world. In fact, with the aid of photography, I can freeze time for something that continues to evolve both as matter and as dialectic. · A character in Kafka's story that ranging between human and object.
